Most people can't handle it but this is one of the albums of the century to date.

Indeed it is, as Angel, Stonehouses new thing is the best thing since this one.

I was so obsessed with this record in 2008 that I brought them to our hometown to play a show with our band... I had to see if this could be captured live... they outdid the lp (which is one of my favorites of all time). I wish that all of SF was like this music

@JONATHAN SUTCLIFFE had an audio upload of the show on my blog that has since got lost in the internet. We didn't have a lot of people in humboldt capturing video of anything back then... just enjoying the music. I think I recorded the whole night on an audio recorder.... such is life. The WAVVES were liked by a circle of friends up here as well... I leaned towards the hospitals. We also had Mike Donovan (Sic Alps) up here when he was doing his acoustic tour... played with him.

There is a mass of plastic garbage twice the size of Texas floating in the pacific. This album is the laser to blow it into space.

Funny you should mention Trux (my favorite band of all time) cause Stonehouse is indeed a fan and even covers "Love Is..." on a 12" called Rich People. I can definitely hear the Trux influence for sure, but rip off? More letter more-so I'd say. I love this record!
