The flow state. The process. It’s the journey, not the destination. Your Boulevard. My 5 motorcycles. Selling my last Harley-Davidson at age 75 seven months ago ended a lifetime journey on 2 wheels. But each ending needs a new beginning. And so drones and other passions lead me on in the flowing river of life, never to dry up or be choked in a stagnant pond. Keep riding my friend and keep painting an ever-expanding picture.

Again, another great video. Just thought I'd add my 2 cents about the pigeons. I picked this nugget from another drone YTuber, so I can't (and don't want to) claim it - but I had problems with seagulls in Spain - like you, I don't harass them at all, but especially in springtime, they become very aggressive - also eagles in the Dolomites in Italy. The trick is red high reflective tape ( something you might put on a bicycle) - thin strips stuck on top, bottom, left, right and v thin strips on prop arms. It completely solved the problem - the gulls still squawk a bit but keep their distance. PS do you need special permission to fly over & around NY? I always worry in urban spaces.

You are certainly a highly talented photographer. What makes me terribly sad are your pictures of the once so great city of New York, it has deteriorated to one giant garbage dump, Americans should feel ashamed about. It is heartbreaking and sickening to see this country being destroyed. Your pictures are however of great historic value witnessing the decay of the United States but still showing a unique beauty, created by your artistic talent!

I like to approach the scenes I shoot in with minimal expectations. Sure, I'll come in with an idea of what I would like, but I'm not married to that outcome. If everything aligns to make that vision happen, great. More often than not an element I have no control over means I'm not going to be able to get what I envisioned. So then I leave it to my years of experience shooting on the ground to find some other way to find something else to make it interesting. I like to think of it as creative problem solving to work within the limitations the situation. Sometimes it's even better than what was expected and sometimes it's just a practice run for the next time. A good example was shortly after I got the drone, I had a trip to Las Vegas and I went through the whole process to get proper permission to fly near the High Roller ferris wheel. Only I realized too late that I didn't ask for enough height clearance. So I'm shooting a cloudless sunset and only enough height clearance to go as high as the middle of the wheel. My creative solution was to get further back and align the setting sun with the center of the wheel. The shot ended up as a finalist in drone photography contest and was selected to appear in the county fair. So a situation I didn't have a lot of hope for still yielded a portfolio photo. I'd love another crack at shooting there but haven't been back yet.

Another good one Ted. Watch out for the drone cops who tell you that you sinned flying over cars.

Fun video. Do you live where this video is shot? I would so love to come and do some street photography in NYC. Never been there. I live in the sticks lol.

Great video Ted..loved it.. The subway darker colour grade was the hit for me. 👌 One day I'll try some colour grading for my vlogs. Can't wait for the mental asylum video. We're currently travelling in Bulgaria (despite where our videos are at..) and I've flown at an abandoned hotel and also in a dictator's building..love the cross between URBEX and my drone..lol 😁👍 Take care and keep smiling.. 😉 Phil

Andrew super cool. Congrats on a great bike. Super reliable, comfortable, very inexpensive, easy to ride. My dad owned a C50 for many years and we rode all over together. Be stopped a few years ago because of Alzheimer’s. So I wanted to find the same bike as a real sentimental piece for me. Found a C90 with same color and same year. You’re up in Nova Scotia? Beautiful part of the world for riding and flying! Welcome to our FLYING CAMERA CREW
