We need humility more than healing! God sometimes says no, because He has another plan at work. Remember Paul. He asked God to take away the "thorn in his flesh", but God responded; "My grace is sufficient for you"! And Paul came to the understanding that this thorn was being used by God to prevent pride in his life. Gods will is preeminent. Healing is sometimes blocked, or prevented by God for a purpose.

Shee P many times we choose to accept things instead of rebuke the small things. God is able to fix the problem. I can honestly say it is rare to find people who believe like Kobus. Not impossible, just that they are few and far between. Many times we are also quick to accept things than turn to God. The excuse of Paul's thorn in the flesh is so half hearted and overused. At the end of the day, miracles are to reveal and open the door for people to believe in Jesus, not to just prove to people what God can do. When we operate in humility, and we are submitted truly to God. Not just saying we are and declaring how much we pray, read and fast. After all a person has their reward according to Jesus. In not accusing Kobus, but I'm sure people will twist my words of they revere a man over God and Jesus. All Kobus did was believe God and walk in obedience to what Jesus said and did. What if the whole body of Christ began to do this and place God first and believe in Jesus and operate in childlike faith. This world would be a better place. I pray we begin to walk like Jesus by being obedient to the spirit of God. We are the light that points to Christ.

@@justincuvelier9569 faith in Jesus Christ, and operating in His name, and love, is clearly the motive of every truly born-again son of God. If we love Him, we will obey His commands, and the Spirit in us inspires us to ask for healing and command deliverance from evil, in whatever form. But God does not always heal. That is also obvious. If we demand "signs", or preference, due to our position in Christ, we advocate pride and not humility. It is not an excuse to point to Pauls thorn, because God makes a point by it. His grace truly is sufficient, whatever the inconvenience, reproach, or suffering. I know that God very often heals, if there is faith present, but not always. I would rather be blemished and kept humble, than be the biggest beacon, with a stinking attitude, since I would not truly be pointing toward Christ.
