In Ethiopia, the spectacular cure of her friend Alexandre Poussin of neuromalaria with an Artemisia annua herbal tea led Lucile Cornet-Vernet to seek scientific proof of its effectiveness. Thus was born the adventure of La Maison de l'Artemisia.
Since 2013, this association has been constantly creating a worldwide network of doctors, researchers, agronomists, farmers, NGOs, volunteers who work in synergy to prove that this plant and others effectively treat diseases as serious as malaria, bilharzia, tuberculosis, Buruli ulcer.
The Maison de l'Artemisia has therefore financed six clinical studies in Africa, some of which meet WHO standards, including two published in the medical journal PhytoMedicine 2018/2019.
To cure a medically diagnosed malaria, 1 litre of herbal tea (5 g of dried leaves and stems in 1 L of boiling water) per day (one 33 cl cup morning, noon and evening) for 7 days.
For children (under 15 kg), 50 cl of herbal tea per day for 7 days.
As a preventive measure, 1/3 litre 3 times a week (adults and children)
