Congratulations to Dr Paul on the success of her book on the Dudleys! I have listened to about half of it now on Audible and I find it engrossing -- so engrossing that I searched for "Edmund Dudley" on youtube and stumbled on this terrific interview, and now I am intrigued by the other videos on this channel. And while the reader in the audiobook is clearly British, I am delighted to see that Dr Paul is a fellow Yank.

I really appreciated this interview - have heard Dr. Paul on several podcasts, and her way of sharing details about the Dudleys just makes me want to learn more. Time to get the 'House of Dudley.' On a side note @donaldgrove2249 , I do believe Dr. Paul is originally from Canada - in interviews she has said 'I am Canadian' 🇨🇦

Thank you. Not a Dudley descendant here. Actually a Mongolian here, more of a contact with a chance to Genghis than the Dudleys probabably, ironically my work is right under the nose of his major silver statue on the edge of town where I teach English. Since your language is how I'm earning my bread (or exploiting as you ladies said wink wink), I am starting to enjoy British history and saw Dr. Joanne in a documentary last week (my time, not realtime) and fell for her irreversibly. So. Hopefully she will guide me to the great bloody history of the Tudors before I delve into the Normans and the Saxons.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ DR. JOANNE ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Thank you. Dudley descendant here. Anne Dudley, daughter of Thomas and Dorothy (Yorke) Dudley born 1612 in England, immigrated to New England. Anne Dudley was the wife of Simon Bradstreet and was the first published woman poet in America.

that background with the pink light and dresser is TERRIBLY DISTRACTING / very non-historical
@BritishHistory Жыл бұрын
What an odd comment. There is no pink light, for start and, why do you think my background has to be historical? Also, the use of capitals is very rude. Your opinions do not warrant being shouted.
