I think Meron pa ancestral Haus beside Gil Lopez Elem Scholl built by Americans 1900 ...not sure dun presently owned by gacuma family ...other ancestral hauses SAA negros going north negros sagay city to escalante to San Carlos city part of neg OCC. If you go further it's neg oriental going to as far as dumaguete city neg oriental ..

You have already covered Central and Northern part of Negros Occidental, but there are more to explore. I hope in your next travel to Negros, you will go down south in the Kabankalan-Ilog area where a lot of Peninsulares settled, family names such as the Vidaurrazaga, Azcona, Zayco, Sola, Omarrementeria and even the Adad who I believe are of Lebanese descent. On the Oriental side, you should also visit Sir Fern. There are equally grandiose houses that are still existing at present.

Correction Fern. Villamor Hall was UP Manila's Conservatory of Music and School of Fine Arts. After WW2, Music and Fine Arts transferred to UP Diliman. The University Theater in UP DIliman was named as the new Villamor Hall. The old Villamor Hall is the current Supreme Court Building which UP Manila still owns.
