Mostly Namco made guncons outside of Dreamcast/Saturn. Guncon 1, Guncon 2, (pretty much) Guncon 3 that came with Time Crisis 4, and then PlayStation themselves made the PS Move/Sharpshooter. And Nintendo made the Wii shooter if you count that too. But it’s such a missed opportunity to not use the PSVR.

I hope so too. This "remake" is quite literally the definition of those "rtx on" memes. The zombie designs look a bit goofy whereas the orig game gave me nightmares when I was a kid. Not to mention the environment is too bright, it looks like they just added a bunch of volumetric fog and lighting to cut corners. They lazed out a bit on this one, but I hope it all gets better upon release.

I only wrote the suggestion to OP as a comparison. Definitely aware that the option wouldn't be possible because it's a remake so this game is built from the ground up. They had a spray paint mini game that lets you hold the controller like a spray paint can and actually point it in your hand move it irl and paint the wall, it was dope. It'll look goofy and not like a gun but if they have that style of pointing and moving ur controller like a gun that might work.

The headset doesn't have a 100 million user base, and for games like this, Sony needs to step in as a mediator and ensure they make it to the platform, investing directly. PSVR2 is next-gen technology capable of evolving the gaming market. Otherwise, we'll just keep seeing PS5Pro-Pro-Plus-Ultra instead of a real evolution in the market.
