Note that House of the Dead Theme is used for Title/Main Screen and Final Stage. Rescue all civilians or at least 10 of 16 civilians will reveal secret bonus room before final battle against Magician. Secret bonus room contain 5 Gold Coins, 4 Golden Frogs, and 6 Life Ups. Player(s) will be given only 11 seconds to obtain all items.

Supposedly, the source code for the original game was deleted because sega “didn’t want their competitors to snatch it” thus the game was only ported to the saturn and early windows os and wasn’t rereleased until the remake
