Always hated that Sega never greenlit a sequel to this. Overkill had SO MUCH personality to it. Granted, we did get the Director's Cut for PS3 and a Typing of the Dead version, but I really wanted to know what happened after that Papa Caesar recording after the credits. And on the subject of the Director's Cut, I always felt the Wii version was better animated. The DC's animation always seemed...janky in comparison, to me... but I admit, the extra content made up for that.

They need to get the newest one from the Japanese arcades to the PS5 also I think the ending is a cliffhanger cause I would like a sequal to this entry with the same story telling the narrator and gun selection is cool with DLC this series can go a lot farther

when you boot this game up on the Wii menu you get a voice saying "The house of the Dead Overkill" with a emphasis on overkill that sounds like a skit of Resident Evil 4 Wii's over the top menu title name drop.

It’s meant to imply the slap scene was from a different take, that would be spliced in to the confrontation between Caesar and Jasper. The whole aesthetic of the game is that it’s a low budget horror film from the 70’s, that takes place in the 90’s.
