I miss video rental. Maybe it wasn't as convenient as streaming media, but the feeling of accomplishment finding the last of a newly released title on the shelf was tangible. And obscure films were aplenty at the smaller stores, which you might not even find available without a sketchy membership to some fly by night online media site. And neither VHS nor DVD had you concerned about viruses.
