The following three-part video series was developed by the Nebraska Department of Education in the Office of Early Childhood to guide staff on how to use intentional teaching strategies that enhance students learning and experiences during play. The series provides examples and strategies for quality room arrangement, selection of quality materials, and powerful interaction strategies that adults can utilize when interacting with students during play.
Part 1: This portion of the series is dedicated to providing staff with guidance and support on proper room arrangement to improve student experience and learning during play. It also addresses basic ways in which adults can intentionally interact with students during play to improve their learning and overall experience.
