Kayfabe was dead long before Goldust ever did this interview. Gary outright states he wasn't interested in Dustin coming on, he wanted Goldust. There were tons of guys doing out of character interviews even up through the late 90's. Kayfabe died sometime in the 70's/80's.

This episode was one of Artie’s best from the KROCK days. I’d give anything to be able to relive my high school years again and get to get high as hell on my way to school with the crew listening to Howard on our cruise and in class. The good days are well dead :(

I used to like Artie for the most part…. But he was so not funny here in any way. He was actually really annoying. And Robin pissed me off more than anything. She never was really much worth anyway. The only thing that made her worth having on the show was Ham Hands Bill. They kept ripping on the guy and being stupid but Dustin was pretty cool actually despite all the stupidity going on in there….

9:27. When I actually chuckled. 10:09: that “GHOOOOOWWW” had me dying 😂 then I sat and watch the whole thing. I just wanted to make sure he was still normal. He’s very talented and professional… Artie wasn’t in this segment.. he actually was too obnoxious… but he did it for Howard because you could see Howard was laughing a few times
