First of all this venue is a 96 year old private residence and was not built for the general public or public venue, so no there is not a parking lot in the front of the mansion. Guests enter through the front door and can certainly step back and look at the entire facade. These comments are just to your experience. This would be what the bride and groom chose to do for their wedding. There are other options for a ceremonial site. Apparently you personally didn’t care for it, and that’s fine but you should keep your general comments to yourself. There are many events not only weddings that are documented with pictures for the client to see. . Second of all, because of being in a residential area and the town’s policy of noise is at 11:00. Music needs to end at 11:00pm. Why do you need to set up 2 hours ahead of schedule? There is a lot of activity going on up to the final moments. Housemen setting up, decorators, caters, florists, as well as the bridal party being there. I am not disregarding your experience and can’t speak about it over a year ago but I do think it’s unfair to The Howey Mansion today. And just so you know the mansion is under new management.
