The one thing I realized from THE HUS artistic works is that aside from the musical elements their lyrics is basically a lore. In each song you can see they tell mostly story to the audience, which has very deep meaning of morals or like their ancestors stories. In Mongolian their lyrics are written so artistic and peotic.

I grew up in the 70s and still love a lot of those bands from that time. These guys would blow just about all of those 70s bands out of the water IMHO, and I'm not saying this to put those bands down. The HU just takes things way up to another level! I think that they're the best band there is at this time. My daughter and I got to see them last August when they were the headliner at a club in Santa Cruz, California. As far as I'm concerned, It was the best concert I have ever attended.
@lorriemiller6750 Жыл бұрын
These guys are a lot better than anything 1970's entirely and none of their music is totally dated like a lot of the stuff from the 1970's was in theirs is timeless and does not have an issue with aging since a lot of the music of the 1970's did not age all that well except for a few bands only which were actually limited in the ones who did age well. I keep saying The HU is the coolest awesomest band on the planet for a reason and they keep on proving it in just being themselves and not using any gimmicks just being themselves and totally awesome and amazing which totally works perfectly. I grew up in the 1960' s and the 1970's and this totally tops all of them in originality and they don't have to sound like anybody else.
@joeclaymore Жыл бұрын
Different category. There’s no way I can say that these guys are better than Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Who, The Rolling Stones’s, Aerosmith, Queen, Black Sabbath, Lynard Skynard, should I go on? Certainly a different style of music and IMHO a genre of rock all their own. Like 70’s rock they have the potential to inspire generations of new music. And I have no idea what the words mean so I’m simply looking at it from a musical standpoint.

I took my daughter to see them last August. We were finishing our lunch at a restaurant near the club they were playing at that night and we saw their bus pull up in front. We got over there as fast as we could and got to meet Temka, Odko and Davaa outside the club.They were very nice and approachable and we got to chat with them for a couple of minutes. I told them that we were attending the show that night and my daughter told them how much she loved them and their music. The smiled and thanked us for coming and told us that they hoped we would enjoy the show. We attended the meet and greet before the concert, coming into the club as they were starting the sound check. Since my daughter and I were the third and fourth people to get in, my daughter ran up to the front of the stage. Temka saw her and remembered her from earlier that day and he smiled and waved to her. After they finished the sound check, they played a few songs while my daughter danced in front of the stage, while they looked down and smiled and waved to her. After the sound check, Temka gave her the pick he was using. My daughter is a special needs person, she has Down Syndrome, and I think they realized that and went out of their way to make her feel welcome. We also met some of their support staff and the producer, who were also very nice, including one woman that talked to my daughter, asking her who her favorite band member was and her favorite song. I cannot thank these guys enough for their kindness, they really made it a great night for my daughter and for me too.

Would love to see The HU playing in Argentina. I love the fusion you do like Otyken, both bands playing native instruments, telling real stories and showing us in the rest of the world the beautiful magic you convey in your tunes.

@@MizRuthie Fall of 2019, Minneapolis was their first US concert, (I think). They have a couple festivals in US this Sep/Oct so they will probably be on US tour then so DO NOT MISS! I started listening to Otyken end of last year, great stuff!
