Praise first. I never heard "decimate" as is so often misunderstood. The obvious comparison to Japan in WW2 is commendable. The character narrating has some depth. Criticism. Redundant phrasing. 'I heard humans saying' is used several times. How did the main character manage to be at so many battles? Heard humans comments, seems like they became a POW, yet goes on to more battles? Why did humans prosecute this war? Never explained other than "released a sleeping giant ' misquote of Admiral Yamamoto. The first time the humans showed up wasn't even a Pearl Harbor situation. And how were humans so much more advanced at everything despite the Advante having a millennium old empire? Plot holes on par with Disney Star Wars.

Thanks for the feedback! It does help. Unlike Disney, I actually do take into consideration said feedback too! Lol Constantly working to improve things as much and as fast as I can over here. :)

@@Sci-FiVault I'm glad to hear it. I don't bother to comment on stories that are so bad as to be irredeemable. I look forward to more from you.

@@paulbooth3953 I hope my future videos are less Star Wars Disney! ...Hopefully we are able to achieve something closer to the pre-Disney era with all of its spinoffs/expanded universe and awesomeness. I miss those days.

Some input from an old veteran, Cold War era. The ground combat training I received often conflicts with many stories I have seen, heard online, but here I didn’t hear anything try that made my eyes roll. The new combat tactics didn’t seem as broken as I often see.. basic stuff like the usual human fleet getting a beating as they finally figure out, Hey, fire on their Command ship, as if they wouldn’t have started out targeting the enemy Command and Control. Because they would. Just as our basic infantry tactics would be to target the enemies officers first. The story where humans were merciful to enemy wounded, THAT, was reality as I was trained. So, just saying, you did great, no contradictions that I would have hated, so just saying,,, Well done youngster.. well done..👍

Well the human fleet did say that the species they were defending was under Terran protection. Which would explain why our forces continued the war, to cripple a conquering, cruel enslaving empire. Making sure they did not continue attempting to subjugate our ally, or any other weaker species.. How I would hope our future government would react.. uplifting, sharing freedom, protecting all near by species from evil conquerers just because we’re human and it would be the right, just thing to do.

So the Avanti lets the original aliens colonize world they couldn't use, then they took advantage of the Avanti's generosity and started to colonize garden worlds. When they wanted the worlds back we show up and attack the Avanti. Sounds like humans are either gullable or the bad guys,

Does anyone besides me see the wolf on his chest. It’s ears rich up to his shoulders, and if you look down and have a little bit of a vivid imagination, you’ll see a wolf. Or as in my part of the desert a coyote!

Wait. How does he go from being a prisoner to command a division later in the story?

Why does the humans just keep sending captured prisoners of war straight back to their side immediately?

I dont get it, is the message "dont defend yourselfs, submit to invaders if they are more powerful"? Not exacly an uplifting story I was kinda expecting a turn around but then again the Imperium doctrine changed and now they have medics? since when dose the Imperium of man have medics? And after playing the invaders, why play the hero when all they did was defend their home and humanity used it as an eexcuse for a resource grab. I think this is a mash of two storys that got confused as the start and end dont line up, but extrapolating each story is pretty cool. We have one of a ruthless humanity, hell bent in enslaving, then, well the second story and the ending is cut off so im not sure, id like to see the two full storys when their not spliced up.

Sorry the storyline wasn't a 10/10 for you, thanks for the feedback, it helps me guide the channel to higher highs. :)

"Brutality begets Brutality" doesnt seem to apply as the Avanti had yet to show any real Brutality. Beyobd that, there was no challenge or trial for humanity, felt very Deus Ex Machina. Like, they are just the best, end of story. If that were the case, how did this massive empire spanning 3 spiral arms allow such a technologically advanced, numerically advanced race go unoticed? How did Human build this up having only a "handfull of colonies" The suspension of disbelief can only go so far. And the lack of cohesion is compiunding that problem.
