I like this movie. Crystal being the one in the middle in this fight Between politically correct killers and politically incorrect victims. I can get why people don’t like this because it’s political and seems like a knock off of the purge but I like the idea of elites who target these bigot/unsympathetic people. Crystal on the other hand was an awesome protagonist. This may not seem like a horror movie but like the purge it has some of those creepy moments. Imo

Context: At the end of Animal Farm, Napoleon and the pigs celebrate their newly-forged alliance with the human farmers, even restoring the farm's original name - The Manor. The pigs behave identically to the humans, walking on only their hind legs; as a result, the animals on the outside looking in can no longer differentiate between the two species. In a similar vein, Crystal is unrecognizable (and fully badass) after shedding her "working-class" appearance and essentially remaking herself in Athena's "elite huntress" image.

Crystal's background is a veteran who has retreated from the battlefield. She was the calmest and most strategic from the beginning when everyone was holding weapons on the lawn didn't show up, she hid. It fits her status as a soldier. I think the core of the whole film is the story of the "tortoise and the rabbit" she told Don. She finally defeated Athena, ate her sandwiches, and drank her treasured red wine, just like a soldier celebrating the victory.
