Hi Cynthia, these salmon are an entirely different species of fish to the true salmon. Atlantic salmon are farmed in Australia but do not occur naturally, your original instinct/feelings were correct. If we ever do catch an Atlantic Salmon it would be an escapee from a local prison camp 🤣🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭😭🥺🥺🥺🥺❤❤❤❤

Hi, when they are biting they hit the bait almost as it hits the water, at other times we set the rod in a holder sit back relax and wait watching the rod tips. The salmon often swim through in schools and when one person gets a hit you will often see others jumping out of their seats with screams of excitement 🤣🤣❤😘❤😘❤😘❤😘

Hi, these are Australian salmon, quite different to Atlantic salmon. They are a very good fighting fish and if prepared well are quite delicious eating. We use our quads to get to good fishing spots ❤😘❤😘❤😘

We started off casting from the sand and soon realised the boys were walking out further than we were casting, they were stepping over our baits on their way back in 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Didn't know that there exists also Australian Salmon, I know only European Salmon and American Salmon. But I buy them only smoked in supermarket. Think American Salmon is also fished, but European Salmon is breeded.
