Mattias Ödlund I was wondering what tires are you running with at that time and are you using a quick shifter??
@mattiasodlund11477 жыл бұрын
Here I'm using Pirelli Supercorsa. SC1 front and rear. And yes I've got a quickshifter aswell, no blip though.
@jdlegnd7 жыл бұрын
Mattias Ödlund nice nice I've used those before and they do get very sticky and the quick shifter is something I've heard good things about so that might be my next investment..thanks for the feedback man I appreciate it and keep uploading these sick ass videos..much respect ✊

@mattiasodlund11477 жыл бұрын
Nah man you're perfectly right about different angles :P Next trackdays I'll try something different, problem is with the races we have to "secure" the camera and this is the easiest placement and best angle if something were to happen right in front you know. But expect some experiments later on! And thanks :)

+Mattias Ödlund What is the difference between the old and the new r6? Thanks.
@mattiasodlund11477 жыл бұрын
Felipe Pulsos Well, technically: same front forks as the R1. Different brakes. New fairings. Modified clutch. Traction control. And Euro4 regulations making it 10hp less powerful... Nothing more really. But how it feels: almost the same but a little better in corner entry. Traction control is worthless and it does feel less powerful unfortunaty
@GiacintoMarcellino4 жыл бұрын
BLOODY GOOD!!!
@Bsteazy5 жыл бұрын
How much does traction control help with your corner exits. It looks like as soon as you pass the apex your at full gas. Super impressive riding 👊👍
@mattiasodlund11475 жыл бұрын
Thanks man! But I usually never use traction control at all, at most I have it set on 1 out of 6 just becuase it resets every time you turn the ignition, otherwise I have it completely off!
@Bsteazy5 жыл бұрын
@@mattiasodlund1147 Hahaha right on! My 09 doesn't have it so no choice, but defo need some more practice to get the drive you're getting out of corners :)
@mattiasodlund11475 жыл бұрын
@@Bsteazy Well you're not missing out, 600's dont really need traction at all unless it's maybe a WSSP spec bike. There's really not that much power haha! But yeah, just keep at it and you'll get there! I still need a whole bunch of practice as well, can't ever be TOO good! :P
@iUsman9756 жыл бұрын
Hey! Buddy are you using an after market slipper clutch or a stock one? The Stock slipper on my '16 is absolute crap, I don't think it'll keep up with the way you are downshifting.
@mattiasodlund11476 жыл бұрын
Muhammad Usman It's all stock. Only issue I've had clutch-wise is the steel plates wearing out really fast! In the R6 cup with 40 riders on -17 R6's, half of us had that problem, but other than that it's great. -16 model was no problem at all for me. But Yeah I do downshift rather violently I've heard haha, hope it continues to work as fine as it does!
@iUsman9756 жыл бұрын
@@mattiasodlund1147 Thank you for the response. That's some incredible riding, if you don't mind me asking - How do you downshift? "Clutch, Down, Down, Down, Release" or "Clutch, Down, Release, Clutch, Down, Release" ? - I usually do the later, but the rear locks up on the stock R6 Clutch. Do you release the clutch slowly after the last shift?
@mattiasodlund11476 жыл бұрын
I pull the clutch between every downshift. Never even tried the other. Also never slowly release it, However I do give a handful of gas inbetween shifts, "blipping" the engine and matching the revs a bit better. Then it's not that violent! It never really locks for me, but the rear spins slower and start sliding, that's how I usually back it in. No rear brake, just engine braking and adjusting front brake pressure!
