Those heads up cards with cat’s butts are awesome! 😝These card are growing on me. Love the black refractor cards from before 2017. Cool story about your neighbor. It sounds like he was stoked that you had a card of him and would be happy to sign another one for “your friend” who is a Duke fan.

Great video Dylan. Love your enjoyment of that 1973 bench. It’s a great one. Most of my cards are in the $25-$100 range and that’s most of what I’m building. They’re all excellent. I think I’ll be showing some more like that. And love the 38 heads ups. That’s such a great project.

Man what an incredible showcase as always. I’m with you on cartoon cards. Love em. Was actually combing through some ‘68 Laughlin WS cards today at the lcs. Dirt cheap stuff but fun. That ‘56 is so stunning and ‘73 is one of my all time favorite sets. Sweet sweet stuff Dylan.

Thanks for the shoutout, my collector clubby! Shane, you and I are 1992 Topps Kids Barry Bonds Cartoon Clubbies! That Black Mariano Refractor is super sic! 😎😎😎Oh man, he's bringing out the Big Head Cartoons from '38! 🤯🤯🤯Frank "Cats-Butt Pee-Puddle" Pytlak! Some day, we will be Cats-Butt Pee-Puddle Clubbies and I will absolutely love it! 🤣🤣🤣Totally agree, I must have the cartoons and those glorious cards, regardless of how good the player was! I bid on several that ended at auction but got outbid on all of them! Gonna have to step up my game! 🤣🤣🤣P.S. I can't believe I have not opened your care package yet! I don't think I can wait much longer! 🤗🤗🤗

What?!? A basketball card on DDV? Are you feeling ok? Haha. That Bench is an iconic cornerstone of the entire ‘73 Topps Reds cards. It reminds me of my ‘73 Rose also in a PSA 6.

Your video was exactly 42 minutes long! 💥💥🤙🤙. Love the Clemente and Jackie cards. The 73 Topps Bench is one of my all time favorites. No doubt Arod was an amazing player but even Yankees fans couldn’t stand him. The 38 Goudeys are the cat’s butt 😂. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!

'56 Jackie is his finest card. Clemente and Robinson - there is some big boy cards. I like the 1973 Bench card as well. That has to be something I chase soon.

Hi Dylan, I’m like you in that I enjoy having some volume in my collection, especially since we’ve been collecting for many years. If I were starting today at 50 years old, I would take a different approach. I’d still buy a lot of cards in the $10 to $75 range because that’s what I enjoy, but I would be far more selective, knowing I could never build the quantity I have now. Way to go on adding some non-HOFers from the 1938 Goudey set. While I love the big names, it’s fun to add some guys who aren’t as well known. For me, it deepens a collection, as there could be a personal story that connects you to that card beyond the player’s greatness. In your case, you love the design of the set, and it takes you back to your childhood when you saw them in Beckett. Anyway, thanks for sharing, and have a great rest of the week!

Love the enthusiasm for the Bench card! Such a great shot. It’s gonna be fun following your Goudey set build here. 1 basketball card, I’ll take what I can get man. Great story and I know how you feel when it comes to asking dudes that you know to sign stuff. Feels weird because you don’t want them to think you are doing it to sell it and make moNet off of them. You do it for the tactile memory.
