The Huntington Library and Gardens are such a wonderful continuing gift and inspiration! There's so much for everyone: botany, art, medieval manuscripts, culinary delights, peaceful respite, and marvelous settings for live music, whether a jazz trio or a classical ensemble.

Great presentation! I grew up in SoCal and visited the library many times in the 70's. Did you know that Henry had his own personal rail spur to his front gate? It was still there the last time I visited in 1978. It has since been removed. I'm looking forward to viewing more of your material!

I love that house and I used to run all around it as a child. I dislike that you have blocked it up with gallery walls. All the beauty and character of the interior is gone.

I visited today for the first time ever…to be honest it made me kind of sad (being Native American) when I walked into their home it felt like it belonged in Europe not here. That’s why I searched for this video-to see the history. There isn’t even a native plant garden on the property *smh* there is a Japanese garden but not a native one. I won’t be returning. It’s sad what these once healthy natives lands have turned into.
