Why are these wives still trying to protect their scumbag husbands? Too timid yo tell the mediator that the man cheated and to even name the person he cheated with. The judge's, lawyers, and the entire family would know what happened. Their ears would still be ringing 20 years later. He wants custody only so he won't have to pay anything. This girl is old enough to know what's going on. It will hurt her more when she finds out later than to just tell her now. What happens when she is introduced to the mistress and sees her father all lovingly hugged up with her? You are not protecting her well when you fail to include her in the equation. Also, this is why you don't agree to let your husband go abroad for a year and not expect him to be tempted. It's negligent to not have a conjugal plan in place. Either he doesn't go, or you accept him cheating, or you go with him.

Can't believe she just doesn't tell the truth ....that he was sleeping with another woman that's why she wants a divorce...she's supposed to be a lawyer but can't even speak for herself.....ridiculous....it just drags it out even more....and that female lawyer representing her...she's hopeless ....she lets her husband beat her all the time, doesn't stand up for herself.....sheesh.....I'm surprised the female lawyers in China don't lodge a complaint against these writers who portray women in their profession as such weak, ineffective operators....

That tired look on her face. She's actually fighting him, passively. Why bring up his wrongdoings and explain to the mediator when she has already decided to pursue divorce and guardianship all the way. Moreover, being a lawyer herself, I am sure she has collected enough concrete evidence against him. A matter of their 13 y,o daughter to decide which parent to choose. Teenagers nowadays know what's going on behind closed doors...dad...you're in to lose all bc of your illicit affairs.

If the daughter knew about the fathers infidetalities, she would treat him completely differently. But i guess they are shielding her from the trauma. Scumbag is acting like its the wifes attitude. He's in lala land, and the wife is not bothering with him. She's ready to move on, good on her.
