A lot of times in these movies, there are communication issues, right? But then you get these. These people who don't know how to draw clear boundaries. Because at the point you didn't jerk back or move away, you loved that kiss. Your body says you didn't think it was wrong. It makes me have an appreciation for that movie where the guy moved into a new apartment after someone who wasn't his girlfriend confessed to him. His girl found out and dumped him immediately because he never told her, and his only solution was to uproot himself and move somewhere not convenient because he was tempted. Sorry for the paragraph. Just realized I'm avoiding the gym.

Chinese try to look Korean because K-culture, unlike C-culture, made it big globally. Has to do with look and the beauty of the Korean language. Japanese is also a very beautiful language to Western ears. Chinese writing is beautiful, but complicated, and for many Western ears, the Chinese spoken dialects sound either harsh (Mandarin) or comical/sing-songy (Cantonese), etc. etc. Plus Koreans (and Japanese) just make better dramas insofar as you don't have the logical leaps and low-budget feeling like you have in MOST Chinese dramas. Hong Kong drama before China took over HK was very popular, however. I loved their stories and they knew had to make great films on a budge. Of course, some Chinese movies are great, especially the Wuxia (Gong fu hero and fantasy) genre. Some Chinese dramas are excellent, like She and Her Perfect Husband. I loved every episode of that drama. But recently, there have been too many low-caliber cheating dramas that are not happy to watch. Koreans just have "it" when it comes to K-dramas, K-pop, etc. They're everything China wants to be as a global culture, but can't achieve due to the harshness (ugliness?) of the Western language to many Westerner's ears. I don't mind it, but my friends hate it. But they love Japanese and Korean, and even prefer Thai language to Chinese. That's a shame but it is what it is. This is based on my experience. I'm sure others feel and think differently and that is fine.
