Pinguens, the question would be why are they there? Are the curated after by a zoologist because they can not be returned to the wild? Anything outside of that they should not be there. There used to be peacocks all over the property and they were so enjoyable. I always have felt this is among the most beautiful properties of all the Hyatt's I have stay at. I think the restaurant overlooking the water pond is The Black Swan and it is an amazing dinning experience.

The penguins do have special caretakers. It is pretty controversial to have live animals on property... I'm not quite sure what to make of it either. There are peacocks throughout the islands as well! The black swan restaurant is quite beautiful! Happy travels 🤙

Loved the video, we stayed here in 2019 and then this past February for 16 days. We loved the remodeling of the hotel and enjoyed everything about our stay here. We hope to get back there again in the future. Thanks for the memories.

My sister booked a trip for us for my birthday…unfortunately and very sad , the island was in flames so we had to postpone and are going Nov/ Dec 2023. Im not sure what to expect but the resort is lovely . This will be my first visit to Maui or any island of Hawaii . I am curious about Leis …i want to be sure my beautiful sister is adorned properly upon our arrival . Can someone let me know if i need to order from hotel or is that something they do? Beautiful video . I am really excited now .

The people of Maui and all of Hawaii are in mourning for the victims of the fire; truly a terrible moment in history. As the communities rebuild, it is important that tourism continues to help rebuild and lift spirits. Thank you for postponing and continuing to support the islands and the people. During our stay, we were offered beautiful leis upon check-in. I would recommend calling the hotel to ask about leis as this may have changed since our stay was pre-fire. You may also ask if there are any locals who make leis to deliver to the hotel prior to your stay... which can then be presented during check-in. It's such a lovely way to honor your sister!
