This is correct. But another cap you didn’t take into account is items. You can reach 45 knowledge only using base knowledge from your gear, wisdom ring, chausses, gloves and boots. Why 45, because at 45, sage give you one more knowledge and you hit 46 which is 80% cast speed. Thus you can invest all of your rolls into hp, ms, dmg instead of knowledge which is expensive af

​@@GrandMoffTarkinsTeaDispenser Not quite, I Made a small mistake in the order (1 - magical dmg reduction) * (1 - Magic pen) -> (1 - (magical dmg reduction * (1 - Magic pen)) If we were to use (1 - magical dmg reduction) * (1 + Magic pen) It would mean that Magic pen can increase your dmg beyond the enemies magical dmg reduction. This is not the case because Magic pen is a % modifier to magical dmg reduction

Since I believe you really have a grasp on the solo experience. Do you think they have to rework rogues stealth? I main rogue and honestly i hope the class gets a full rework on its sad mechanic of camping for kills.

Yeah the mechanic is not healthy for the game in my opinion. Rogue should be an acrobatic character with a lot of movement, not a landmine one.

That’s a really good observation, being self reliant is super important in duo, and I love running that build too. For clearing PVE, and boss and not having to stick to my partner against Rogue and Panther

Health is ok, but it gives you hp only when you have book out. Especially that all class got 15 flat hp buff. Hp is less important. Killing people faster is

Is fire mastery not very effective? I feel like on paper it sounds so good with the 5% damage increase, the extra burn ticks, and reduced healing. Which is great for fireball and zap. Also with the arcane shield being nerfed and meditation being buffed what do you recommend?

Fire mastery on paper sounds good, in practice it’s ass the burn is delayed so you deal less damage because enemies don’t take full tick dmg due to debuff duration. Arcane shield was a 5hp nerf which is nothing. And meditate is a PVE ability so

What would you recommend for a solo player under 25 gear score? I’ve been able to get the cast speed to 50%-60% from the squire, but I can’t fit the perk spell overload without dropping a spell. If you were a new player trying to learn the basics of pvp with wizard without dropping gold, how would you build it?

It's a good question, I like hitting 80% cast speed. And sage can be dropped for sure, anything that ca be covered by gear, is dropable. However knowledge is soo expensive right now that I don't wanna do it. To get that 4 knowledge from sage I would have to spend over 20-30% more for every kit I build

How come you run invis over haste? Haste gives same ms but also more casting zpeed and action. Invis effect doesnt seem good compared to those ztats

Invis is crazy spells, it's highly skill expressive. It's good to face check room, push rangers, get move speed fast. so much better than haste

Not bad, but I would be stressed fighting rogue and panther. Because barbarian is an easy match up

@@cngblade you still have protection pots, and light orb with slow. Idk we have a bit of a different play style. I will be changing to staff mastery to check it out. Do you pre pop arcane shield or something? Because I wouldn't have time to hit arcane before I was stabbed to death. Also the silence won't allow you to pop the arcane shield skill right?

@@mikekedian1221 I drink blue pot, when face checking a new area. Arcane shield used only when I actually fight someone, because you can pop it mid jump. Yes if your opponent has cut throat you can't use it but cut throat = no dmg, so 2 bonk with ignite should kill

Hitting zap is way easier if you let go and then flick(aim) on the target. When you let go of your right click there's a huge delay before casting (even with spellbook) so if you let go first and then aim that delay will be less noticeable

This is actually wrong, especially playing Wizard. You can kill any class because you have dmg. Having better gear on Wizard at some point is just more hp and move speed, not more dmg

I made a video about base kit Wizard you should check it out. Base kit Wizard with ice mastery and ice bolt is really strong. For mid gear just having knowledge and 6 true is dmg shouldnt cost more than 2k gold
