Also, you get much more context and background info and detail in the book Oh AND IT'S AVAILABLE AS AN AUDIOBOOK :O The narrator for the audiobook of the LN is incredibly skilled, too

In the manga, she ligit is so empty inside that she full blown doesn't eat, and when asked about it, she just catitonically gets up, and comes back with half a glass of water on her tray. And even clair's friends comment how she's so depressing to look at, that they feel bad for rae, and how they preferred her obsessive love over that state, and straight up admit to themselves that they find the other girl weirder to be around clair than rae. To be clear, i wish they didn't only do the initial depressed rae part, but the full blown catitonically depressed scene from the manga.

As foreigner, I think English VA is already pretty good if you watch western animation. but, it's just the English dub to anime the one that never fit. I think it's really hard to embody the flow of the speech since it's on completely different language with completely different approach on voice acting.

I think what I love most about Miss Claire's English dialogue is how words like "miscreant" just show up so naturally. Like, her vocabulary really is that advanced, and she's not using those words to *sound* like she's "smart", but because she actually is. The writing *and* the voice acting really sell that side of her character. I kinda want to start a book club with her.
