I agree with previous comments that the narrator reads too fast. He doesn’t pause between chapters and I have to keep rewinding in order to follow the story properly!

Narrator is in too much of a hurry. Begins to get into the story and more emotive in last 2-3 hours. Almost like a different speaker. VG story, kudos Mr Thacker

I can’t listen any longer as I’m sure my pulse rate jumped when I started to listen to the AI ‘s rapid narration. I’m 74 and not computer savvy so I’m sure the younger people wound love this speed.

You have the option of clicking on Settings and slowing the speech down by adjusting the play speed..

Reader is too fast paced. Takes away the importance/relevance of narrative. Can't enjoy the story. I constantly listen to audiobooks, so I know what I am saying. Change the narrator. And you will have many many more listeners.

Try adjusting your playback speed in the Settings button next to the Closed Captions button and hopefully that will help.

@@kirnpu I did, the thing is that the there is no intonation nor expression-pauses at all during this reading. These which are very necessary to underline the literal content. Sadly it just kills a well written story. I may be exaggerating this to some of you, but humor me and compare this narration with other audiobooks. Hope to encounter this with another narrator someday soon. Yrs respectfully....

@@mfech9596 Oh I totally understand. I'm at least able to get through this now that the horrible narrator from the first book The Enigma Strain is gone. A narrator can elevate or tank a book. I'm just so thankful for audiobooks. Here's to pleasant future listening...
