@Hakuna_My_Tatas Жыл бұрын
Idk about that weight advantage, fulton walks around 140, and Naoya as of recent at 63Kg, 139lbs. So both are practically walking around the same weight. Naoya already had trouble making weight at 118 when he fought Butler. So he’s growing physically. You can count that both will easily rehydrate upwards to 135+ on fight night. So there is no question as to if Naoya will carry that power. He’s naturally heavy handed. And his records speak for itself with his KO/TKOs. Fulton is more of a boxer, wins on points. Naoya is both, a boxer and a knockout artist.

@Surgi What is your point? Inoue is on the top of the P4P list like #2, #3. The greatest fighters in boxing moved up. You ever heard of a little fighter named Manny Pacquiao? He moved up 8 divisions and was always fighting bigger guys. What about another All Time Great fighter Floyd Mayweather? He moved up 6 divisions and was always fighting bigger guys. It's part of the sport. This is boxing and as I am rooting for Fulton to win and confident he will win there's no guarantees. Inoue is a very strong competitor.
@anonymousprofessor8866 Жыл бұрын
@Surgi I am rooting for Fulton for the same reason why a Japanese person will be rooting for Inoue, genius. "meanwhile Fulton..." What?" Fulton was planning on moving up but when you get an opportunity to fight a great fighter like Inoue, well you frankly just don't pass that up. A victory over Inoue puts Fulton on the P4P list. 1. Crawford, 2. Spence, 3. Charlo, 4..Haney, 5. Inoue, 6. Beterbiev, 7. Bivol, 8. Stevenson, 9. Fulton, 10. Davis Also I been in and around boxing for decades and had close family turn pro which watching what sacrifices they gave to the sport gave me a true appreciation and respect for these athletes. And my Grandfather was George Forman's trainer briefly in 1975.

Everybody knew that this was the best fight to make in the lower weight classes. I don't think of Fulton as a top 10 pound-for-pound but I think of him is being very close to that. Somewhere between 12 and 15 but when you start talking about that level you could also just say he's somewhere between 8 and 10 on the pound-for-pound list. I think he's a great fighter but I think he's about to meet his match and then some. Inoue is the best fighter in all of the lighter divisions and though I don't think he'll knock Fulton out I think he'll win sixty or seventy percent of the rounds. If you haven't been following the monster then in my opinion you've been missing number 2 on the pound for pound best fighter list. He had one really tough fight because he got cracked and broke his orbital bone but he still managed to finish that fight and beat Donaire. When the rematch happened it was like two different fighters Inoue made it look like it was the easiest fight in the world for him the only issue I have with the monster right now is I didn't like how he looked against Butlerbut some fighters have a way of making you look bad even if you're beating the hell out of them and I think Butler is one of those guys. It's strange that I'm dissing my favorite fighter for not taking out a world champion fast enough but I think it's a valid he will be ready for Stephen Fulton and I hope Stephen Fulton recognizes how much of a step-up this is going to be. I think it'll be an awesome fight but I take Inoue by three rounds or a knockout.
