What a Honest, Frank. Adorable, Lovable, Jolly, Graceful person is Waheeda Rehman. I don't remember how many times I must have seen Guide. She paired well with Dev Anand n their chemistry was amazing though she was wonderful with others too. Her contented attitude makes her look young even at this age. Wow ! She still looks active n her style of talking has not changed. I loved her eyes n innocent moves. I thoroughly enjoyed her interview. It was like listening to a story from your grandma. I really like these type of talks, where these senior actors talk about their anecdotal pasts with such enthusiasm and zeal that it puts life into their stories. Twinkle was equally at ease. Liked the way she conducted the interview, she seemed so normal and genuinely interested. In the end at 22:39 Waheeda Rahman looked eeringly ( in a good way) like Sharmila Tagore.And I had to remind myself, no she is not.😃Overall I want Part-1,2,3 of this.

Great questions and great answers. Guide is such a great book and film. Her description of how she feels about friendship is so refreshing and encouraging. Twinkle also gently translates what Waheeda says but her manner of speaking is so graciously felt and expressed as are Twinkle's questions. I wish the best of these interviews could be put in a book. The husbands get acknowledged for their stellar cooking and understanding. It is so encouraging to be able to view these interviews.

Guide is my favourite movie. Her dances in that film are superb. I watched the dances N number of times. She acted in two Telugu films at the beginning. Did a classical Bharatha natyam Marvelously in NTR's Jayasimha. Did a beautiful folk dance in the film 'Rojulu marayi', for the song 'eruvaka saagaaro'.

My grand father @ Vijayawada worked under Rehaman saab,father of Wahida ji. When the previous officer suspended my grand father out of personal issues my grand father got upset .The moment Rehaman saab became commissioner of Vijayawada, he looked into the records & sent an officer to my grand father's home & made him comfortable & reinstated him with more benefits. He said " How can we insult an officer like you??". My grand parents & every one felt happy & thanked him. My uncle,yongest son of my gran father, became an officer in central govt ( Rtd .Jt.Secretary ), he always remembered Rehamanji's administration & followed his human touch . Regards to their family.

Wahida is a fine human being. I saw Guide first and later Solva Saal. With Dev Anand she made a very pretty couple and the song Tere mere sapne ab ek rang hai I remember almost every day. But the song she did with Rajesh Khanna in Khamoshi.... Yeh shaam ek ajeeb thi simply is outstanding. Very good interview Twinkle. Keep going.
