I liked the scene but the feminist angle was a bit annoying. not does he treat you well, does he respect you/ treat you with the respect you deserve. is he serious about you those are the important things. Not the direct blunt "he a feminist?"

The character in the film kept it short and just blatantly asked if dude was a feminist. What's the difference? Why are you annoyed?

@@marissa._ He a feminist isn't personal. it isn't about her relationship with him specifically. it isn't about Hayes and Solene. He might be a feminist but a shit partner and he was a fairly shit partner. He left her alone to deal with his fans coming after her and didn't stand up for her in any way with no explained reasoning. Maybe his view of feminism is she could defend herself and didn't need him playing the hero/knight because she is an intelligent strong independent woman. when actually she needed his support and protection she needed her partner That is what feminism is women wanting to be treated equal and the same as men.
