When we row on the Potomac as we go up the river we get a great view of the Washington monument in the background which is pretty sick.

a weight lifter has strong legs "yes" but a rower does have stronger legs because of the cardio they put in to those legs.. that is a fact!
@isorry4strokin8 жыл бұрын
+esmie reyes depends on what your goal is. max power of a weighlifter is much higher and most olympic rowers wouldnt be able to get anywhere close to the max squat numbers of powerlifters. just like powerlifters would die 500 meters or even less into a rowing race. Its like comparing sprinters to 5k runners, they train differently so there really isnt a way to even make a good comparison.

Olympic, can you please do a video about anatomy of a woman rower? 💜✌
@ivanicasmusic6 жыл бұрын
Luka Boyle well..there are differences between men and women..ways that bodies respond differently under pressure..hormones.. Don't know what to tell you, but would sure love to see anatomy of a woman rower. In my teens I was a rower, now I'm (maybe) old for it, but sure would like to try again, but don't know how will my body respond, since I'm not that young anymore.😂

a rowers legs as strong as a weightlifters? lol, nowhere near.
@bigbobabc1239 жыл бұрын
+Elconimo even the worst Weight lifter in the Olympics would squat significantly (probably way over double) more than the best rower in the Olympics.
@bmseven288 жыл бұрын
+Elconimo he did say weightlifter...
@bigbobabc1238 жыл бұрын
+Elconimo a weightlifter is someone who competes in a specific sport, anyone who competes in that sport will have significantly stronger lags than any rower.
@bmseven288 жыл бұрын
***** don't be a dumbass,he obviously ment a weightlifter of a similar age and bodyweight. ANY competitive weightlifter will have WAY stronger legs and hips. he obviously wasn't comparing an olympic level rower to a weightlifter that has trained for 2 weeks.
@nickplaysthetrumpet8 жыл бұрын
+bigbobabc123 Its not like you can really compare the two anyway. A rower has a MASSIVE lung capacity therefore they can put enough aerobic energy into their legs to push hard but still make it a full two kilometers. A weightlifter definitely has more explosive anaerobic power to squat more pounds which is probably what you are thinking of.
