Hi Rob & Gail yes it could do with a bit of a re-jig, I think it's a work in progress, I'm very impressed with the new updated shower facilities though, it would be interesting to go back in the future to see if any other improvements have been done, thanks for watching

Hi both, very interesting to see your video and the tour of the site. We visited that site in 2019 in order to explore Edinburgh, we were looking for a cheaper alternative to the Caravan Club Site. Unfortunately, when we visited, it was peak season, towards the end of July and the site was absolutely full to bursting. It was awful, terrible pitch, and the toilet facilities were totally disgusting. They were mixed, not segregated mens and ladies, and every single shower cubicle was flooded due to debris clogging up the drain holes. We only used them once, used the van the rest of the time. So it certainly looks as though there have been some serious upgrades to them, can't believe the difference! 😊 We did however like the convenience of being able to catch the bus straight into Edinburgh from the site entrance, something we did 3 days on the trot. We revisited Edinburgh a couple of years ago but used the club site as we couldn't bear the thought of returning to Mortonhall, but maybe we'll give it another shot if we return again in the future, but most definitely only in low season!! 😊😊

When you stayed it must have been like the last toilet block, it does seem to be a very popular site for visiting Edinburgh, it was very busy when we arrived but had emptied out when I did the walk around, thanks for watching 👍

Thanks for the video. One site to miss when up that way. I like a bit of space and much more gravel for the Scottish weather.
