I would like some clarification since I just finished binging The Idolmaster both series and Movie and I must say I love this franchise and am ashamed of myself for not knowing about them sooner.. after the movie I scroll through the internet and see this.. may I ask.. do the back up dancer girls like Kana in the movie appear in the Idolmaster Million live anime? And I'm assuming they're in 765 pro right? A lot of stuff just really popped into my head when the movie ended and if its true then I'm hyped up even more for the million live anime.. I don't care if it's a different studio.. I'm just glad I get to see the girls from where they once started and get to see them in their current lives.. ohh and last question do the first gen like Miki, Haruka, and the others also appear in said anime?

@@nork22 I have to disagree. Maybe CG has better structure overall but it does not determine the show's quality completely. The pacing was terrible, characters were very underdeveloped with forced developments. The story was, not that engaging I have to say. It's such a shame since 876 had interesting characters. but at least we get the best producer so, yeah.

MILLION LIVE JUST GOT ANIME ANNOUNCEMENT. A planned anime adaptation for Million Live! was announced during the Theater Days 3rd anniversary livestream. It will be animated by Shirogumi, directed by Shinya Watada, and with series composition and script by Youichi Katou. Worldwide, bring it on.

It's 2023 and MLTD is finally animating. But one question: why not in 2d but in 3d instead? I loved the animation about the old 765's that was created in 2012 and the hand drawn live was great! I was really expecting the new 765 to be also in 2d's though. BTW the 3d MV's of the MLTD was quite nice though, even so I'm still expecting to see a new 2d hand drawn live on screen.

Is there not a higher quality version? Is this the highest quality vid that was in the phone game or something? I suppose it makes sense they didn't have a need to release the PV anywhere other than putting it in the game, and I guess people ripped it? But was the quality really this low in the phone game, or is it just that the only rip we have is this quality? The encoding seems to blur more at certain points :S If anyone knows how/where to see a higher quality version that would be amazing, the animation is so beautiful I would love 720p or 1080p T^T

New anime but not original IM@S 765 staff, and not 2D... Also not even the same style wtf. If it's going to be CG, at least keep the same style (faces, hair, etc.) like they were able to do with the in-game CG... Well at least we had this awesome PV with awesome animation.

Yup, I'm not really happy with the changes either, but at least the CG seems to be promising. Look at Akiatsu for example, the CG there is great. I mostly hope this new anime will be like the others, focusing on every single idol at least a bit. Still sad it's not 2D and that the style is more like Love Live tho...

did i just see a nanoha vs fate reference? ugh ever since the first season, every new group just looks bland in design..and/or recycle personality tropes...first group was colorful in design and personality and easily distinguishable i got mixed feelings seeing akane and the other original 765 gang together, slightly older yet with new art designs.
