I watch all types of football NFL, CFL, COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY, AND HIGHSCHOOL. This was by far the best touchdown I have ever seen, Pure sportmanship at its best. Very Classy gentlemen and very well done. You have done us football old timers proud.

This is one of the most wonderful things I have ever seen. Its a testimony to the human spirit and the true character of the coaches and players. I'm 30 now, and have some great memories of high school football, but I can only remember a few specific plays from my time on the field. The other 21 young men on the field that evening were truly part of something great and I have no doubt that they will remember that play for the rest of their lives. Thank you for sharing this video.

I was at the Seattle Seahawks game vs. the Arizona Cardinals, in Seattle, when they commemorated Ike with a personalized 12th Man jersey, as well as a picture with his fellow teammates and the Sea Gals cheerleaders during halftime. Amazing sportsmanship, amazing child.... The way we should all act towards one another. Kudos to the student athletes and coaches from both Lake Stevens H.S. and Snohomish H.S. for making this happen. RESPECT

I love this...As a football coach and lover of the game and what it promotes, this is an amazing story. Both teams and coaching staffs are to be commended for taking this time to show another side of the game. It makes you feel great about life when you see simple things like this!!!

I'm glad to see that there are still people out there that care. People cant imagine how special this kid feels. He will be suffering for a very long time but moments like this will help him with not only the pain but the emosions aswell.

Watching this video made my day. If you read the article, Ike showed up for drills for 3 years, working very hard for this. He's earned it. Everyone deserves to be a champion, and Ike truly is. Kudos to the Snohomish and Lake Stevens players for helping to make it happen.

I was there for this game, and WOW. I have to say that my friends and I were touched to see this going on. Lake had such sportsmanship to allow Ike to do this, and Im glad he did! I hope to see him score many more touchdowns in the future! :)

In my 15 years of coaching football, I have never seen a greater display of sportsmanship in my life!!! With all of the negative things in sports that go on, it is a wonder that no one has shown this on National television!!!!!!! Way to go, coaches, for being human beings, not just competitors!!!!!!

With everything else you see and hear in sports these days it is nice to see that there are players and coaches that still value sportsmanship over the score board. It is not if you win or lose, but how you play the game, that defines character.

I love this video. For anyone that has played football then you know the heart and soul of the game and why this play fills your eyes. Its about being there for your teammate no matter what. And I'm glad that the other team at least made the play look real to Ike by chasing after him. For those that bash on this video, you have no heart or soul.

(Part III) I heard of this on the radio while driving through Tacoma yesterday as a DJ read an e-mail from a man named Michael. That e-mail was meaningful and valid in its point. The whole episode simply illuminates the fact that we would rather “feel good under false pretenses” than “be good through hard work”. Disguised in the hype and apparent happiness is failure.
@scifan314 жыл бұрын
You know... this is a nice gesture... Take it at face value... they really made that kids day... and gave him a memory he'll cherish forever... it matters not that it was given to him... Great character for the football players involved.
