I think another reason why it got taken down by the cease and desist is because unlike American fast food chains like McDonald’s, Jollibee isn’t as popular outside the Philippines. Thus, young fans outside the Philippines would only know Jollibee from the fan games that potentially tried to ruin the company’s reputation instead of the real thing. That’s why we got comments on videos showing the real Jollibee of these kids saying “is that Jolly from the games?” That’s why plenty of FNAF fan games that featured McDonald’s haven’t been taken down; because everyone knows that it’s a real fast food place and those events in the games were completely fictional.

@@sonic8005 yeah, from what I’ve seen the fan games used the mascot of Mac Tonight as well as the classic McDonaldland characters, both of which haven’t been used in a long time (except for Ronald but he’s the mascot of the House instead of McDonald’s now, as well as Grimace, Hamburglar, and Early Birdie). Plus the Jollibee games could’ve been the perfect idea to use mascots they haven’t used in a long time like Chickee, Lady Moo, etc. At least Jollibee wouldn’t be the only animal.

To anyone who hasn't caught up with IvanG's (The creator of the Jolibee's games) works, Yes, He has deleted the two games a year after the 2nd game was released. But IvanG and his team continued a past game series made by them called Jolly. Jolly 4 is still in development and might release at the end of this year or next year.

But you know how kids act nowadays. If a Jollibee suddenly opens up for business near their neighborhood, they'll attack the restaurant because of the food poisoning part of the game's lore. It'll ruin the reputation of the restaurant in the eyes of its potential customers. The Jollibee franchise is known to be family friendly, and with the fan game existing, that image will be ruined and they'll go bankrupt (because no one wants to eat at a restaurant with the risk of food poisoning, even though it's fake). The problem with FNAF fans and children from the states is that they can't separate reality from fiction, and Jollibee knows that.

Fun fact: Those of you who don't know why IvanG had to cancel Jollibee as Above, so Below and all of his Jollibee's games cause the Jollibee's company messaged him to remove the game due to copyright infringement or he will be sued, so Ivan had no choice but to remove it. IvanG was only 15 by the time he was making Jollibee's 2019. Even if it was gone, he is currently working on Jolly's 4 the long awaited sequel to Jolly 1 2 and 3

This is one of those situations where it's really hard to take a side here. On IvanG's side, it really sucks to have created great fangames only to have those be taken down through legal matters. On Jollibee's side though, the brand is still not well-known outside the Philippines, so most of the young non-Filipino children will most likely know Jollibee for it's "scary murderous animatronics" and would likely scar their impressionable minds and would hesitate going to an actual Jollibee establishment, which, last time I've checked, contained no animatronics (only people under mascot costumes), much less murderous ones.

To be honest, Jollibee is famous within the children and adults in the Philippines but **not** outside the country. It's understandable if the game got taken down, considering that Jollibee is an **actual** restaurant and not a fictional one like Freddy Fazbear's. The reputation can get damaged. Filipinos are sentimental with their culture so please understand that Jollibee restaurant is precious to them.

What's cool is 4 Out of 5 Mascots actually resemble the products Jollibee make. Twirlie's Hair is a Chocolate Sundae. Popo's Head and Hat is a Box of Fries. Yum's Beanie is a Hamburger. Let's be honest, they did use the copyrights of a company. From the sounds of it, it sounds like they got lucky in that the company didn't outright sue them for the infringment. edit: not supporting the company, literally never heard of them before this, but it's a mess with the bull get the horns type situation. The real life Jollibee's restaurant chain isn't that popular outside of the Philippines, and is practically non-existent in the US and Canada where McDonald's reigns supreme and most of FNAF's fanbase is based, so most people outside the islands won't know about Jollibee beyond these two games, if at all. It's a real shame they were shut down as they were rather unique and well-made, to which many of the most popular FNAF fan games often just end up being copy-pasted from FNAF 1 and 2.

These are 2 games, Jollibee's 1 and Jollibee's Phase 2. Jollibee's came out in 2019, Phase 2 came out mid 2020. Both are apart of the same series of FNAF fan games if that's what you're thinking. 🫡👍
