In fairness towards Virtua Fighter Animation, that game was based off of Virtua Fighter... The Animated Series! In other words it was an anime tie in! Also, for the Game Gear version it was one of the very few titles to support the GG's MAG sprite mode to feature a zoom mode similar to The Art of Fighting. Curiously, Tec Toy's Master System port doesn't feature this despite also supporting the MAG function.

Yeah only the Sega Gen Rom versions work , the SNES roms don't work, same with Soul Caliber sadly .

When I was a kid thought the Sega Port for Virtua Fighter 2 would be close like the arcade. A huddle of me and my friends were so heart broken LOL How could they do this I thought ! LOL

Had Sega used the add on chip from Virtua Racing it could have been closer but would have costed more to manufacture.

I can't remember if it was called "Tekken 2", but I do remember a friend of mine had a "Tekken" gave for the SNES. I remenber it was incredibly clunky, and for you to crouch down you had to press down, and to stand up again you had to press up. Yup, crouching was more of an on/off state than a "hold button down" thing. Jumps were also a mess, and in the end, it just wasn't fun.

Tekken 1, Tekken 2 and especially Tekken 3 for the Sony PlayStation 1 was amazing and still is fun. I love hearing about these De Makes of popular games I find it interesting and at times funny to see how It looks. Cool video. ^_^

One-- Tekken does not have two live action movies. Those were cosmic fever nightmares experienced by the world when Paul Super Fist the Galactic Alien king. Two-- This is like the ninth video on Tekken. I like them, but what about some Virtual Fighter or Dead or Alive love? Perhaps some Soul Caibur, or Tobal 1 and 2?

Sega & virtual fighter had the better graphics, but Namco & Tekken had the better gameplay. In my opinion Tekken didn't really take off in popularity until Tekken 2 when everyone was trying to master the 10 hit combos and King's multi throws. Then when Tekken 3 came out and people saw Eddy Gordo, Hwang, and Jackie Chan's animal fighting stance it was all over for the virtual fighter series, because people just got tired of the 3 button system and the 1-2-3 basic combo system.
