Missing from the GDP discussion is that the Federal deficit spending ($1.7T USD) is counted once when it is created. When the Fed deficit funds are spent by the recipients it is counted a second time. Subtract these from the official GDP numbers and GDP is flat or negative, which matches the low consumer sentiment.

US electricity consumption is flat since 2008. US oil consumption has been up and down but is only up about 20% since 2008.

When most of the GDP is derived from government spending, we are closer to communism; when most is derived from private spending, we are closer to capitalism.

@@bellakrinkle9381 Socialism is just the enslavement of everyone's income through taxation to selectively benefit the politicians through donations and/or votes.

Thank you for sharing. Financial education is crucial today to show incredible resilience and discipline in the volatile market, masterfully balancing strategy and insight for success. This dedication to continuous learning is inspiring...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.1BTC to a decent 11B TC in the space of a few weeks... I'm especially grateful to Aaron Gavin whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape..

@16:30 ish, he needs to understand the disruption of BESS (battery elec stationary storage). CATL CEO said it best recently: “We are getting so good at battery recycling we won’t need to mine those minerals in 15 or 20 years.” It’s very unwise not to appreciate the ramifications of that, that have already begun. FYI.
