Xu fu is an amazing addition to the roster. I do still wonder why they didn't make her quick oriented to provide some much needed low star options for that, but I do still think she provide a lot benefit to everyone's account. Great breakdown as usual. The problem with Xu Fu's card color choice is that it's lore mandated instead of mechanically motivated, Yes. Quick does need more dedicated supports at low rarity, and yes you'd assume Xu Fu would be quick so that she could better support Consort Yu (in her summer version) like her s3 wants her to. However the story of Summer 5 points out that Xu Fu does not understand what Paisen really wants and so her aid (and affection) is useless and since Yu's regular version is buster, to stay in theme Xu Fu must buff arts. Blue stays winning and Mozart, Paracelsus, and Casturia can all be trotted out to work less often unless specifically needed

It's a pain in the ass when I need a low star support for a Quick unit like in those tower event's were you can't use the same servant over and over again. I wish we got a unit that provides both Quick buff and NP gain up, there are many servants that barely are able to loop like Douman who deals many hits on NP but for some reason NP gain on Quick cards are terrible, he's an 80% charger and yet you need Oberon to complement his change because he isn't able to refound even 30% with his NP in some nodes.

My theory is Xu Fu’s obsession with Consort Yu has lead her into not knowing anything about Consort Yu. She has all this nice stuff but can’t fully use it on Yu because Yu isn’t Arts. Just a funny little theory

I can't wait to get her, though I'm always hesitant to use lower stars because lower HP means more fragile.

I think her biggest asset is that she's someone who you'll be able to easily get along with her coins. So, for newer players she'll help a lot.

Paracelsus is pretty decent budget castoria lol his targetable guts gives 50% np gain which is nothin to scoff at on top of his Bond Ce + skill gives 30% arts and 10% np damage something castoria doesn’t even do

As for me, I'm consciously not using Castoria because she's on bond15 now. Focusing in buster looping, but I can use again my arts DPS after Xufu release.😅

I'm just happy to have an option that has buff resist that won't also eat all the stars (Santagale) I absolutely adore Protea and the bane of her existence is buff removal. I still think they should be unremovable buffs, but I digress >.>

Xu Fu should have her Buff Removal Resist buffed to 3 turns. Why? She's supposed to be a Consort Yu dedicated support in lore and based on her 3rd skill. In other words, 3 turn Buff Removal Resist has better synergy with Consort Yu's Buster Looping.

I was initially a little meh about her, at least until I ended up with NP3 Yu tryibg for NP3 QSH. Now I'm looking forward to her. Zang Jue still hasn't shown in my FP rolls yet though, so I hope she doesn't take as long.

Idk looking at her kit like this, it feels like she’s literally made for QSH, QSH is arts and his main problem with stars is what she’s providing too, she’s like born to serve QSH even though she’s a Yu simp

Castoria is still weak to Buff removal and no healing though. So even though she's quite busted she is still not absolutely invincible.

Like I said in the past, I plan to 120 her asap. I like her a lot. Not sure who is going to get to 120 faster, my Habenyan or her... probably Habenyan. I can't wait for the next lotto. Also, I think her kit being absolutely useless to Yu was the point they wanted to make, just saying.

By "whaling" do you mean you are going to buy quarts to get 4 and 5 star servants that you will burn to get Rare Prisms to buy FP from the RP shop (20kFP for 1RP) to roll for her? Coz she's a free unit....

@EnchanterTim_MPATHG here's the thing. I need 30+ copies of her in order to max append 120 her. If she's in the FP pool, she'll be sharing the 3☆ rate with 20+ other servants. It'd take me about 2 million FP to do that, and I only have 20k rn. She's in the Arcueid banner, though, so that's where I'll roll for her.

Xu Fu is a disaster lesbian who got so hyped up to support her lady and didn't think it through, so came in as an art support instead. That's my best rational for why she's arts. Gonna stick her in the back row with Lancer Yu, so they can be together a bit.
