The Impact of Domestic Violence on Young Children

This session will provide information about the impact on young children when they are exposed to domestic violence. Participants will learn about trauma symptoms that young children may exhibit when exposed to domestic violence and the impact of trauma on development. Participants will also learn how to advocate for young children in the child welfare system who have been exposed to domestic violence through appropriate case planning and
recommendations for services that are evidence based.
