When I was a kid, places like that were my playground. Grateful I carried that love for nature with me in my Adult years. God bless. Keep it up! People need to learn. They need people like you. - See ya on the next one!

I think shroom is false turkey tail? This is absolutely valuable work and education! What a great example of what many can do and observe. You may want to mention for safety that depending on where you are, deadwood is fuel so some may need to keep some firebreaks or fuel breaks just in case a very beneficial to ecosystems wildfire were to unexpectedly occur, or if prescribed fire is used. Blessings!

Thank you! And I absolutely agree I have done controlled burning in small areas on my property where I have a lot of prairie species planted . For me, fire is not a threat where I’m located but definitely understand that concern and I will definitely cover that topic in future videos, thanks!

I’m doing the same but I also built little log structures for animals and birds to find. The north side gets different plants than the south side and mushrooms are covering them all now (I inoculated some)

Aye, from The Netherlands - I concur on the dead wood, we leave lie as much as possible in our 40 square metres of garden and have birds nesting in the garden each year (about 60% of the gardens are either 100% concrete or brick or else 80% artificial grass and maybe a fewplants😱😭. Keep at it, you rock
