Very good. I really liked the "chin over toe" and the "pull, see, move" as essentially parts of the foot positioning!

@@AdamsClayPigeonGuide I suppose it depends on how long your nose is.... Just joking! I'll try both. Thanks for your comment!

I shoot DTL and the amount of times I see a shooter standing sideways to the target and thus restricting their movement is extraordinary. I stand with my left foot pointing at 12 and my right foot pointing at 2. That gives me the rotational flexibility that I require.

Thanks for bringing footwork forward. There is little doubt that ‘good shooting begins with the feet’…I think Churchill had this refined a step further ( no pun intended ). As he describes in positioning oneself to the target, perhaps as it presents itself; by first dragging a foot back & rotating on the ball of the other. Some of subtle advantages to putting this into mussel memory are: 1. You are always & continuously in balance throughout the move, to take the shot at any time. 2. Your weight will naturally be on the proper foot for the shot direction. 3. And by dragging the lead foot back, you’re less likely get caught up in ground debris throughout the move.

I am a Level 1 shooting coach here in the USA and if I have a new shooter, as far as weight distribution I have them think of “Nose over Toes” with 60% of their weight on the forward most foot to the target.

If your on a peg driven game shooting, depending on if your right or left handed, say right your body can freely swing but a left handed bird, you would need to take a step to the left with your left leg in order to swing freely and more importantly stay online with that bird.

Great Video. All my faults explained. But one of my others is that I stop the gun when I pull the trigger. How do I stop this and is there anything I can do at home to help?

All I can think of to help with this is just make it a part of your routine. Really focus on it when you practice until it becomes natural. I doubt that helps but its the best I've got so there you go.
