The Importance of Moss | Pin N Post |

मॉस (Moss) जमीन पर उगने वाले शुरुआती पौधों में से एक है. मॉस, धरती पर डायनासोरों से भी पहले से है. 44 करोड़ साल से भी पहले मॉस ने पृथ्वी पर कार्बन डायोक्साइड सोखकर ऑक्सीजन रिलीज करनी शुरू की. इससे धरती का तापमान भी कम हुआ और ऑक्सीजन भी बढ़ने लगी. इसके बाद धीरे धीरे धीरे अन्य प्रकार के पेड़ पौधे उगने लगे और जमीन पर जीव जन्तुओं के लिए आदर्श माहौल बना.
मॉस, यही काम आज भी कर रही है. हमारे इकोसिस्टम के लिए मॉस बहुत ही जरूरी है. ये खनिजों की रिसाक्लिंग, वॉटर रिचार्ज और हवा को साफ करती है.

Great video, very interesting and informative beautifully explained. I worked a bit on artificial culture of moss, and was successful in cultivation of various moss species on bricks, even pure culture of selective species on bricks and standardized the protocol. I find these colonies of mosses are most effective way of maintaining Eco chain. I have grown a variety of plant species on artificially grown moss colonised bricks. Some information about my work is available on google and utube. Hat's off to you sir. I don't think I am lucky enough to meet a legend like you sir🙏
