The Importance of Supporting & Preserving Local History- City of Tracy vs The Great Plate-

I read an article recently in the Tracy Press about the trouble a local landmark is having with the city, trying to bring the 100 year old building up to code, the city is threatening to tear it down if they are not code compliant by a certain date. This infuriates me. I find it incredibly short sighted that the local government is not more proactive in preserving its local history.

Love your Tracy videos, I've noticed I didn't see the Tracy Historical Museum located at 1141 Adam St. across and down the street from the Tracy Inn. I would really love to see you do another video on that next time you're in town. Sorry to say but the Great Plate building has been bulldozed. Would love to find out the REAL story behind the Great Plate!!!
