It is thrilling to listen directly to Dr Emanuel Tov.

This was very instrumental in assessing the text how I think you should and being honest with the overall transmission and reconstruction of the development of the Scripture. It took a long time for people to admit to the LXX being so essential to that goal and realization of the full spectrum of possibilities within it that need not to be silenced or muzzled by the fact it is not Hebrew failing to realize the codex's most valuable to MT are medieval. Tov and Muraoka are some of my favorites in addressing the LXX and old Greek variants and textual analysis. I hope one day we can have another Hexapla which can provide a didactical insight into the translators of the Hebrew into the Greek and allow us to back track through the LXX to the Theodotian into the Symmachus and Aquila and into even the the transliteration Al section and the Hebrew to transition through a more broad understanding and comprehension of the eastern semitic Hebrew people and language through the multi renditioned Old .Greek aka OG. Also Beyamin Tzedeka too he's great.

Interesting to know how much his personal beliefs of the divinity of the torah or not influences his subjective understanding of the differences in texts. I would suggest ockam's razor, since all jews today who observe the torah have the exact same version would indicate that the masoretic text is most likely the original, as opposed to saying that a fringe non observant group had more conviction to keep the text unchanged.
