@@vault6242yeah I agree. Like saying they’re sweats or gen rushers for just playing the objectives. It’s no different than what he’s doin as a killer. Tunneling off hook and trying to get 3 or 4k. It goes hand in hand right? They’re trying to survive and beat the killer. The killers are trying to finish with a 4k. Don’t think it makes one side a “sweat”. They’re both just playing a game and trying to win. Didn’t really notice “bully squads” or anything.

I want all modifiers to be permanent. This game need variety for sure. I'd just want them to add a small moment of pregame perk check (like the Offerings showing preloading screen), so we noobs can have 10 seconds to learn what does each perk do.

This mode really did expose how much survivors get carried by meta perks. I had so many people lose track of pallets during chase and just lack map awareness overall due to not having windows or deja vu in their build. Oh yeah, and a HUGE increase in failed flashlight saves due to not having background.

@@rigbeta9664 No, if anything it showed killers don't need to run their meta perks if survivors didn't have all their overtuned broken perks and items that force us to run the only perks that counter them.

@Lbdataz1469 I suppose neither of our arguments hold any weight in water since "It Showed" is based on our experiences and unconfirmed data. From what I've seen and actually played, it's pretty equal in terms of how much characters get carried. I don't exactly take too much into account when it comes to the players who play the game professionally or play with a Winstreak mindset, since those players tend to be on the competitive spectrum as opposed to casual players like myself.

Also. Before the chaos shuffle, I primarily played each character with their unique 3 perks + 1 non unique perk (like spine chill or premonition). I also solo. I will say that a lot of players rely on perks to do well, but as a solo queue survivor using a limited playstyle, I ran into nearly every match with a killer running nearly all slowdown against a group of mostly solo survs absolutely destroying a team because their builds basically make the gen requirement 8 to 9 instead of 5. To me, that's carrying. Everyone is getting carried very hard by their perks.

What really stood out to because of this modifier was how lost some survivors become when they can't rely on their usual meta loadout. They'll run up on the slightest bit of elevation to drop down, only to realize, 'oh I don't have balanced landing', or take a vault when they should have kept running because 'lithe will save me'.

i'm a killer main who rarely plays survivor, but i personally buy the chapters as they're cheap and you get double the content! but if you really don't care about survivors and their perks just grab the killers :)

I love the mode but the amount of times I've gotten a Skull Merchant/Wesker match or stuck with some garbage combo like No Mither + healing perks is crazy. If they added some logic to the randomizer to avoid nonsense perk combos like that, it'd be perfect.

Yeah never makes any sense to me. Like if you wanna tunnel for the streak then just say so but to call them gen rushers when they aren't being pressured is dumb. Like what else are they supposed to do? You want to play as efficiently as possible as killer and tunnel someone out that's fine, but to complain about them working efficiently to get gens done with random perks is hypocritical when you're doin the same.

This guy is painful to watch. Anytime a chase lasts more than 15-20 seconds the survivors are "sweats". Then in the next match as skull merchant he's sweating his ass off and insta tunnels the Sable out of the game. The hypocrisy is crazy.
