I actually love this path, it's great fun, you get a ton of free cores and when the Nazis do come it's super easy to win with a bit of planning. Also you don't need to wait for the cores on the other baltic nations, just let the soviets take it and then there an event where they give you then land

if you want an easier challenge you can play germany's least played focus path is instead of annexing all of your neighbors, you can do all the befirend focuses to flip them fascist and get them in your faction, giving you the czechs, polish, dutch, danish, swedes, and norwegians in your faction in addition to the usual countries
