@@Cody-does-things 😂 I bagged a couple comedy checks last fall for 2 trail Halfs that I ran, and all they wound up being, was credit toward signing up for other races with that promotor. Still a lot of fun to earn a podium spot, and hold the silly check. BTW, my daughters HS XC team had what they called, "Fresh Friday" and all of them would run in Hawaiian shirts for the run that day. So your shirt selection is always epic, and she and I will still occasionally run together in ours. Thrift stores for the win.

@ glad to hear that! HS especially is just about having fun with your team so I’m happy for them. That’s probably what I feel is missing most from my running life - just that solid “team” to joke and suffer alongside. I hope she cherishes every minute of it

lol no crispy cremes but I did eat a handful of cookies the day before so that probably helped. The Hawaiian shirt was from the thrift shop too. That place was gold
