That's because there in the 3hrs lecture, you are expecting the lecturer to come and put in your head without YOU trying to make an effort. That is spoon feeding you were expecting. Where as here you have put aside your lazy nature and come to learn. Had you done the same for the 3hrs lecture you would have learnt way more you understood in this video. So put aside your laziness and poisoning ego and start to learn boy.

Hello James, let me start by saying THANK YOU. I’ve found your videos educative and entertaining. Unlike other videos about accounting, yours are precise, concise, and rich in content. My question to you is: Where would you record refunds and returns in the lifecycle of sales transactions? Would a refund be recorded as an Expense or Liability? Your knowledge and wisdom are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
@AccountingStuff5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Roland, great to hear that you're finding the vids helpful. Hmm... The Double-Entry for Refunds would credit Liabilities or Cash (depending on how the refund is processed) and the other side would most likely be a debit to revenue (to reduce 'gross revenue' in the income statement). Hope that helps!
