THE INCREDIBLE HULK (1978) TOSSES A BEAR, AND IT'S HILARIOUS | Double Toasted Bites - People have talked the full abomination of Hulk vs the bear before, but we recently discussed it on the show with Billy! There is no full trailer, video game, Hulk 2008 movie scenes, or Transformation scene that can measure up to how silly it is to see the Hulk bear fight, ending with Hulk performing a throw that ran us into a fit of laughter. Sometimes repeating a joke over and over will get old quickly. NOT THIS TIME! I swear I laughed every damn time that 'bear' went flopping through the air. I re-watched this show a few years ago on whatever streaming service it was on at the time. Thanks to somewhat decent writing and Bill Bixby's acting, it still holds up. ...Unlike Knight Rider. From what I understand, Stan Lee had asked the creator of the TV series "Could the bear be a robot?" You couldn't do a whole lot in the 70's. We were lucky enough to get a Bionic BigFoot on the Six Million Dollar Man. Even the Spider-Man series fell prey to technical limitations. I guess you work with what you have. Nowadays, we can do better special FX on our phones. lol
