Basically grandpa saying that everything used to be better, like we will do, hopefully. Different perception, differing concepts of good. I always remember 'the thing'. That was an adaption from a story from the 50's. Burnt to the ground by critics. Seen as the most epic horror today...

Arkanjo Teixeira I won't sway your opinion, but I'll still tell you the gameplay was not anywhere near good, even less near fantastic. (Beware the very long paragraph) The combat was dull, slow and repetitive, most of the time all you do is punch punch and punch with not much combos. The punches themselves were sluggish. In this game, Hulk moves very slowly, whether he jumps, dashes or attacks. The enemies were also slow themselves. For example, the Hulkbusters would literally take a century to reach you up on a building. The items breaking are just non-realistic. You don't just run to something and it immediately turns to trash. The boss battles were too linear and limited. The only things good is the climbing and the fact that you can destroy every building in the city. But even that doesn't help, because you'll have to waste 2 minutes of your life repeatedly punching until it collapses. Need I say more about this terrible game?

Iz Willy So True. :fighting gets boring extremely quickly since the amount of combos you have is worse than in the 2003 hulk game. : The big boss fights are easy and they fight the same as hulk but are granted extra abilities. : You can raise your threat level by jumping and landing near a building or if the enemies CAUSE destruction themselves. : Sprinting isn't fast enough and the controls are stiff when sprinting. : Draw distance is really bad on all consoles (but is much worse on ps2 and wii). : Missing sounds and voices in the ps2 version. : Hulk's roar in the ps2 version isn't right at all. : Unneccassary abilities that should've been unlocked at the start. For example, the car and pole use that just extends hulk's ability to attack enemies with a car,pole or mace weapon (Why not add a ability to extend hulk's combos to like 10 hits each time instead of unlocking a car,mace and pole use, WHAT TYPE OF UPGRADE IS THAT?). : Arkward Movement when jumping in midair, you don't have much control on where you land while high in the air especially if you accidentally fall off or steer near the side of a building. :Special moves only affect Armed vehicles within one hit but armed enemies don't die with one hit unless you upgrade. :Difficult to upgrade your health and rage as finding canisters are such a pain. :Using some certain rage moves drain almost all your rage. : Missions are SO easy, providing not much of a challenge, the only thing that makes it hard is loads of enemies gang up on you. : Blocking is mostly pointless as it doesnt block much attacks. :Graphics are among some of the worst i've ever seen in a marvel game on ps2 (ULTIMATE DESTRUCTION HAD GRAPHICS SO POLISHED). :Sega made this game. :Music is too soft on the ps2 version, can't hear squat when playing. :The upgrade system isn't really a cool gimic, i would've been fine collecting points to upgrade. :No day or night transition on pc,wii and ps2 making cutscenes in the dark seem weird. :People don't die even if you grab and throw them at an object. :Taking a subway to get away doesn't make any sense at all, Hulk can't crawl through a subway station to escape the military. What are the redeeming factors about this game? TIME FOR A ANOTHER LIST. :Nice voice acting :There's skins you can unlock and each has their own roar. :You can weaponize to your smashing needs though there should've been more. :Good free roam gameplay. :Destroy any building you want (something ultimate destruction lacked). :Very long gameplay meaning you can't beat the game in a few hours. :Nice choice of enemies, armed vehicles and bosses from the hulk comics. :Pretty intresting artwork and comic covers to collect. :Very very nice music during gameplay (sadly tuned down on ps2) :Good cutscenes. :Nice rage moves that is similar to what hulk does. :Funny hulk voice acting. : Infinite enclave and army battles and my favourite gimic is you can fight the u-foes if their in a certain area. It's a good/bad game based on the movie. If you wanted this game, get the ps3 or xbox 360 or simply get Ultimate destruction, A REAL HULK GAME!

I unlocked the characters playing this game and I'm still playing it. And the fact bruce kills himself. So the fact is that banner is trying to stop the monster (hulk) and hulk knows banner, that's a fun experience.
