Thank you for your video! We have just booked a trip to Jawakara for February 2025 and now we are longing even more. Did you bring your own snorkeling equipment? I saw that you had different types. Is it possible to borrow a full face mask? What kind of camera did you have to film both above and below water? Which side of the island would you recommend for the nicest beach and clearest water without corals and seaweed? Thank you again for this amazing video!

I have booked for March 2025. On the small island. I always take my diving equipment with me on vacation.

Hi thanks for watching You will love it at Jawakara ! We did bring our own equipment however everything is available for hire at a cost of course We used a go pro for most of our filming We would recommend the beach on the sunrise side where we snorkelled in the video (next to the overwater villas) Hope you have the best time !

@@AdventuresWithGingerSpice We're definitely looking forward to it. Can you actually find the site beforehand? We were on Rio Atoll 3 years ago, and it was just as beautiful with the two islands. We just want peace and quiet and a nice beach.

Thank you for the amazing video, the trip was in June ? How is the resort overall ? Services, food..etc because I am planing to visit it next year

Thank you for watching 😊 The resort was incredible. Everything is still brand new and it has a new and luxurious feel all round. Service was incredible Food was good as well We were there in May and it was really hot. We only had one day of rain in our 7 days at the resort. We can’t wait to go back !

Hello from germany and thank you for all the detailed information! This video helped us very much :) You say that snorkeling at the water villas is better than the daily snorkeling tour at the house reef. Could you give us some more thoughts on that topic? The snorkeling spots you showed in the video look nice but in a short video on the Jawakara KZbin channel the real house reef looks much more interesting. Thank you for some Information!

Glad you found it helpful and thanks for watching ! The house reef was really dead and not much to see - but it is free so go on it once at least. The snorkelling next to the overwater villas was way better and lots of colour and life :)

How much does the jet ski tour cost? I have booked a vacation for March 2025. Is there also a dolphin tour? How much does it cost?

Hi thanks for watching The jetski was 220 usd for one hour And the dolphin sunset cruise was 65 usd per person

Thank you for this vlog! 😊 Was the beach enjoyable with dead corals? On the photos they are everywhere and makes the water less attractive for an easy swim. We plan to visit the Maldives in Jan, and the beach is crucial point for us, although the hotel itself looks amazing.

Glad you liked it and thanks for watching ! The beach was incredible actually - especially on the side where we snorkelled next to the jetty (sunrise side) You do not have to worry about that at all. Have the best time when you visit :)

Would you recommend to book with all inclusive? Was the jetski for free?

I don’t think the all inclusive is worth the extra price Half board was more that perfect for us. The jetski was not free

There’s a free house reef snorkel each morning and afternoon If you don’t have flippers and snorkel you will have to rent that at a cost (if you are not on all inclusive) The other snorkel spot on the island itself is free of course as long as you have your own gear
